Nine of the 71 unicorns minted in the United States so far this year are based in Chicago, bringing the city’s total to more than 15. (That’s behind only San Francisco and New York.) Is Chicago emerging as a great tech hub? Or is this a post-pandemic gold rush that won’t pan out?
