Join us April 29 as Melinda Gates makes an exclusive stop at the Executives’ Club of Chicago to speak with the business community following the release of her first book, The Moment of Lift: How Empowering Women Changes the World. Gates is a philanthropist, businesswoman, and global advocate for women and girls. Forbes has names her one of the world’s most powerful women. She is an increasingly visible force in efforts to eradicate poverty and to improve education, particularly focused on providing access to contraceptives to women around the world. Gates will talk about the values that guide her work- “if you want to lift up humanity, lift up women” and also discuss her investment and incubation company, Pivotal Ventures, which is working to drive social progress for women and families in the United States.
